Make new friends but keep the old...

I have been at Sangam for two weeks now and the Reach for the Stars event, which is my first as a staff member (in training) is ending tomorrow. There is a song used in guiding that goes "Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold" and its funny to think in this short time through living in this international and Wagggs lead community I have come to find other very like minded women from around the world who I would like to consider my friends now and I'm a little bit sad and disappointed that some of these friends will be leaving for home in a day or two and I can no longer spend time with them and share my experience of India with them. But then a whole new group will arrive and it starts all over again for another couple of weeks, and this is my job and life for the next 12 months. I am pretty lucky to get to do this
By the end I will have so many new friends.
